AUDIENCES Brings the Publishing Industry Together for Publisher Drinks in London
Last night, on Thursday 7th May, AUDIENCES hosted its Publisher Drinks event in London, bringing together publishers, partners and industry friends for an evening of conversation and collaboration.
Despite train disruption and election day distractions across the UK, the venue was packed by 4.30pm, with guests from across the publishing, media and advertising ecosystem joining us for what became a hugely energising evening.
The event was created to bring together the people shaping the future of publishing at a time when the industry continues to navigate major shifts around identity, audience monetisation, privacy and the growing importance of authenticated first-party data. Throughout the evening, conversations centred around some of the biggest opportunities and challenges facing publishers today: how to create sustainable revenue models, how to unlock the value of audience relationships responsibly, and how publishers can retain greater control over their data and infrastructure in an increasingly fragmented ecosystem.
For AUDIENCES, the evening reinforced why the work we are doing matters so much. Publishers hold some of the most valuable authenticated audiences in media, yet too often the industry has made it difficult for them to activate and monetise those audiences without compromise.
At AUDIENCES, we believe publishers should be able to activate their data in a privacy-first way, directly from within their own cloud environments, without losing ownership or control. As the market continues to evolve, the need for independent, transparent and sustainable approaches to data activation has never been more important.
The support and feedback shared throughout the evening was incredibly encouraging, and we were delighted to see so many meaningful conversations taking place between publishers, platforms, data partners and industry peers.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We’re already looking forward to continuing the conversations over the coming months and bringing the industry together again soon.
