AUDIENCES Appoints Tom Blenkin as Commercial Director & Snowflake Lead
London, UK – 8th September 2026 – AUDIENCES, the independent, cloud-native audience activation platform, has appointed Tom Blenkin as Commercial Director & Snowflake Lead, strengthening its investment in the Snowflake ecosystem and helping more brands put the first-party data already within their cloud infrastructure to work to drive better marketing and business outcomes.
Tom joins AUDIENCES to lead its commercial strategy and go-to-market activity across the Snowflake ecosystem, working closely with Snowflake teams, customers and partners to accelerate adoption and help organisations put more of their first-party data to work across marketing.
Tom brings extensive experience working with brands, retailers and agencies to drive clear returns on new technologies. He joins AUDIENCES from Screendragon, where he was Commercial Director for Europe, working with leading brands and marketing agencies on automating their creative operations and AI adoption – reducing the time-to-value on content and campaigns. Previously, he held senior roles at InMoment, HP Autonomy and BrightTALK, building a strong track record at the intersection of enterprise technology, marketing and commercial growth.
The appointment follows the launch of the AUDIENCES Snowflake Native App, enabling organisations to build, manage and activate first-party audiences directly from their Snowflake environment. Rather than moving or duplicating customer data into external platforms, AUDIENCES brings the activation technology to the data, allowing marketers to instantly use their rich customer data to enhance their media campaigns at greater scale and without compromising on enterprise grade security and governance.
As brands increasingly consolidate their valuable customer data within cloud environments, such as Snowflake, to remove siloes and add intelligence, AUDIENCES is focused on closing a persistent gap in marketing: organisations have more first-party data and more sophisticated data infrastructure than ever, but too little of that data is being used to inform and improve campaigns.
Matt Wilkinson, Co-Founder & CCO at AUDIENCES, said: “We’ve reached an exciting point in the growth of AUDIENCES. We’re delivering measurable marketing and business outcomes for customers and seeing growing demand for a better way to activate first-party data. Now we’re investing to bring that capability to more brands and help more organisations turn the data within their cloud infrastructure into commercial value. Snowflake is a major strategic opportunity for us, and Tom’s appointment reflects our commitment to its ecosystem. Having someone of Tom’s calibre dedicated to the partnership will enable us to work even more closely with Snowflake and its customers and accelerate the adoption of cloud-native audience activation. Tom understands how to take innovative enterprise technology and translate it into real value for brands. His experience across technology, marketing and commercial growth makes him a brilliant addition to AUDIENCES, and we’re delighted to have him on board.”
Tom Blenkin, Commercial Director & Snowflake Lead at AUDIENCES, said: “Enterprises have spent the last decade building first-party data assets - CDPs, data warehouses, clean rooms and now sit on a return-on-data problem. The data exists but activating it still means exporting it, copying it, and re-governing it every time it crosses a system boundary. It’s an architecture cost and a risk exposure that's becoming harder to justify at board level, not just an inconvenience for marketers ready to create value from it. On top of that is genuine platform consolidation. Cloud data platforms, like Snowflake, have become the centre of enterprise data spend, largely because CFOs and CDOs have pushed for one source of truth rather than dozens of point tools each holding a fragment of data – reducing it’s value. Anything that requires pulling data back out of that environment is now fighting the buyer's own consolidation and governance agenda.
Tom further added "That disconnect is a huge opportunity. What attracted me to AUDIENCES is that the team are solving the problem based on unique personal insights from their own experiences as marketers for big brands. Instead of asking brands to move their data into another platform, the technology sits where the data already lives, giving marketers direct control of how their audiences are created and used across the growing digital advertising media ecosystem. I’ve spent my career helping brands and agencies adopt technologies that quickly lead to financial success - both revenue and profitability. AUDIENCES is at the front of the next generation of data driven innovation. I’m excited to work with Snowflake and its customers to put first-party data at the centre of how marketing gets done.”
Matt Pilgrim, Adtech & Martech Partner Lead for EMEA Snowflake at Snowflake, said: “AUDIENCES is well positioned within the Snowflake ecosystem, helping customers extend the value of the data they already have in Snowflake into marketing activation. Hiring Tom to lead this opportunity is a striking signal of intent. The strongest ecosystem partnerships combine great technology with dedicated people, investment, and a shared commitment to customer success. AUDIENCES putting senior commercial leadership behind Snowflake demonstrates that commitment. We’re delighted to welcome Tom and look forward to working closely with him and the wider AUDIENCES team as we grow the partnership and help our joint customers get more from their data.”
Tom’s appointment comes during a period of continued growth for AUDIENCES as it expands its platform, partnerships and customer base across brands, publishers and data providers. Its independent, cloud-native approach enables marketers to activate first-party data without the traditional movement or duplication of customer data. With interoperability, flexible identity and governance at its core, AUDIENCES provides the infrastructure to connect customer data to the wider advertising ecosystem, giving data owners greater choice and control over how, where and with whom their audiences are activated.
