London, UK 26th August, 2026 - AUDIENCES, the independent, cloud-native software company enabling brands, publishers and data owners to activate first-party customer data directly from within their own cloud infrastructure, has announced the appointment of Nikhil Dixit to its Strategic Advisory Board.

Dixit brings nearly two decades of experience building and scaling businesses at the intersection of media, advertising technology and data, with a career spanning three significant adtech acquisitions: Right Media by Yahoo!, Invite Media by Google and Arbor by LiveRamp. He led business development and sales at Invite Media before joining Google following its acquisition, where he served as Head of Media Platforms New Business Development. He later co-founded Arbor, a people-based data platform helping publishers and advertisers unlock greater value from their proprietary data, which was acquired by LiveRamp in 2016.

Following the acquisition, Dixit served as SVP, GM of Business Development at LiveRamp, giving him a unique perspective on the evolution of identity, data connectivity and activation infrastructure across the global advertising ecosystem. Today, he invests in and advises early-stage technology companies.

His appointment comes as AUDIENCES continues to scale its independent activation infrastructure, enabling organisations to put more of their first-party customer intelligence to work across the media ecosystem while keeping their data within their own cloud environment.

Designed to work with an organisation’s existing technology rather than replace it, AUDIENCES provides an independent, interoperable layer between customer intelligence and activation. This enables brands, publishers and data owners to retain control of their data while connecting it to the platforms and partners they choose.

Rob McLaughlin, Founder and CEO of AUDIENCES, said: “Nikhil has been at the centre of some of the most important shifts in adtech over the past two decades. He understands not only how the ecosystem has evolved, but where the structural challenges remain when it comes to data ownership, connectivity and activation. “His experience building and scaling Arbor, and subsequently at LiveRamp, makes his perspective particularly relevant as we build a genuinely independent and interoperable activation layer for the industry. We’re incredibly pleased to welcome him to the advisory board and have his experience supporting the next stage of AUDIENCES’ growth.”

Nikhil Dixit said: “I saw firsthand at LiveRamp that most brands and publishers are sitting on troves of first-party data they can't actually put to work not because they don’t value it, but because activating it has always meant giving up control by exporting it somewhere else first. It’s not a data problem, it’s an infrastructure problem: you end up renting your data’s value to someone else’s pipes instead of owning the whole thing. AUDIENCES flips that - the data never leaves your cloud, but you still get real-time activation everywhere it needs to go. It’s the unlock that marketers have been waiting for, and once you see it work this way, it’s hard to imagine going back to the old model, which is why I am thrilled to join the advisory board.”

Dixit joins AUDIENCES’ growing group of strategic advisors, bringing further expertise from across the global data and advertising technology ecosystem. The board acts as a group of trusted advisors to the leadership team as AUDIENCES expands its technology, partnerships and global footprint.

The appointment follows a period of continued momentum for AUDIENCES, including the launch of its Snowflake Native App and a new partnership with Experian to help brands unlock greater value from their first-party customer data. Together, these developments reflect AUDIENCES’ growing role across the data and technology ecosystem as brands, publishers and data owners look for more independent and interoperable ways to turn customer intelligence into measurable marketing outcomes while maintaining control of their data.
